Govt issued order to set up Narayan Guru Development Corporation

The government has issued an order to set up Sri Narayan Guru Development Corporation, which has been a long-standing demand of the Billava/Eediga communities of the state.

Long time demand of Billava/Eediga, Ganiga communities has been fulfilled. The government has ordered the establishment of a separate corporation for both the communities.

According to the government order, the new cream layer and caste list will be issued identifying the backward classes for reservation in admissions in educational institutions and under Article 16(4) of the Constitution of India.

Accordingly, reservation in educational and employment appointments has been made for a total of 26 castes, including Idiga, whose entry is from serial number 4(a) to (z) of category 2'A' in the said caste list. In this background, it has been ordered to establish Sri Narayan Guru Development Corporation for the all-round development of Ediga-Billava community.

An order has been issued by the government to establish a new corporation for the all-round development of the mining community and to establish the Srinarayanguru Development Corporation for the all-round development of the Ediga Billava community.

An order has been issued to set up Shri Narayan Guru Development Corporation, which was a long-standing demand of the Billava/Eediga communities of the state. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommayi posted that the corporation will work for the all-round development of 26 other important sub-castes including Ediga/Billava.

Minister Sunil Kumar responded that it was a long-standing demand of the community to establish a development corporation in the name of Sri Narayan Guru for the comprehensive development of the Billava community in the state. He tweeted, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai for making the community's dream come true."
